Piping Designer
Location: Westwego, LA
Duration: 12-month contract assignment with conversion potential
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
Responsibilities- Design & Development:
Create detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models using AutoCAD software for process plants, refineries, and chemical facilities - Integration:
Coordinate with process, mechanical, and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of piping with other systems - Documentation:
Prepare P&IDs, bills of materials (BOM), technical specifications, and operational guidelines - Field Coordination:
Conduct site walkdowns, verify designs, and resolve routing conflicts with civil/structural disciplines
- 2 - 5 years of petrochemical experience
- Experience in the field preferred
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Votech or ITT schooling preferred
