2025 Entry Level Staff Engineer

As a valuable member of our Structural team, you will work with our multidisciplinary teams across the northeast. You will sit in our Westwood, MA office and will work in a hybrid work environment.

We provide building design and inspection for new facilities, as well as addition or renovation projects. We evaluate and design all building structural systems, including roof decks, beams and girders, columns, masonry bearing walls, below grade concrete walls, and structural slabs. Our structural engineers also design equipment support structures, tanks and containment structures, as well as vehicular and pedestrian bridges.

You will be assisting our Structural team in researching, compiling, and examining a wide variety of structure related data, as well as assisting staff with a variety of projects and/or field assignments. You will help to perform engineering calculations, assist in developing various reports and specs, and may also learn and perform light drafting tasks in AutoCAD and REVIT, and potentially assist with small design tasks.

You will need a BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Having a MS degree, experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, or Micro Station would be a plus. It would be helpful to have previous internship or full-time work experience in structural engineering design and using structural analysis software.

The starting salary for candidates with a Bachelor's degree is $77,168; and the starting salary for candidates with a Master's degree is $81,328.
