- Work on site planning and design, problem-solving, and permitting assignments
- Draft figures, details, and plans
- Complete field work supporting design and construction projects
- Prepare design calculations and opinions of probable construction cost
- Prepare technical specifications, memoranda, reports, and project correspondence
- Apply design standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide construction-phase services, including construction observation
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Create record plans
- Support infrastructure projects across the Northeast
- Assist projects from conceptual stages through design, permitting, bidding, and construction oversight
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Passed the FE Exam and obtained EIT certification, or planning to by June 2027
- Relevant internship experience in surveying, engineering, permitting, or construction observation
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn, intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills
- Preferred:
Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering - Preferred:
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or HydroCAD - Preferred:
Understanding of hydraulic/hydrological studies and stormwater modeling
Demonstrates expertise in civil and environmental engineering principles, including site planning, design, and permitting processes. Proficient in technical documentation, construction observation, and project management from conceptual stages through completion.
