- Manage project execution from initial concept through construction completion
- Ensure adherence to technical, regulatory, and funding requirements
- Serve as the primary client contact
- Guide clients through funding options, permitting, and project execution
- Supervise multidisciplinary teams and provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight
- Prepare and oversee construction documents, including permit applications, drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports
- Maintain high-quality standards
- Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
- Address project needs and resolve design challenges
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Keep projects on track while meeting client expectations and industry best practices
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities
- Contribute to proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the water and wastewater industry
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer
- Demonstrated project management experience and strong technical skills
- Strong leadership ability with a passion for managing and mentoring others
- Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with New England and New York water and wastewater regulations, permitting processes, and funding opportunities (preferred)
- Understanding of Revit use on multidisciplinary water and wastewater infrastructure projects (preferred)
- Experience in water and wastewater system design, including treatment plants, pump stations, conveyance systems, and asset management planning (preferred)
- Enthusiasm for learning and a self-motivated approach to professional growth (preferred)
- Additional licensure in multiple states to support diverse project needs (preferred)
Demonstrates expertise in project management and technical leadership within the water and wastewater industry, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and effective client communication. Proficient in managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing project execution from concept to completion.
