Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Pricing Functional Expert

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Pricing Functional Expert to lead the architectural design, key functional enhancements, and end-to-end execution of our Oracle Fusion Pricing solution. In this role, you will work directly with business stakeholders, sales operations, and technical leads to translate complex commodity pricing changes into scalable Oracle Cloud configurations. A primary near-term deliverable is architecting and configuring a dynamic surcharge framework to accommodate raw material cost increases (e.g., aluminum) across affected product lines.

To address rising raw material costs (such as aluminum), we are implementing a specialized Surcharge Structure built around our existing item logic. You will architect and implement a solution modeled similarly to standard Discount Lists, with specific unique behaviors:

• Item Program Assignment:
  Assign specific Item Numbers directly to dedicated surcharge programs.
• Granular Scope:
  Each Surcharge will have its own unique identifier and apply strictly to its assigned item numbers.
• Flexible Logic:
  Support both Discount % and Mark Up % rules.
• Multi-Level Logic Control:
• Define single Markup/Discount % across an entire table, OR
• Configure individual surcharge amounts at the line item level.
• Custom Invoicing & Aggregation Logic (Key Differentiator):
  Surcharges must present as a distinct line item on the customer invoice. The solution must aggregate all tagged line items, calculate individual line-level percentage logic against revenue, and output a single consolidated surcharge line item at the bottom of the invoice/order.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design:
  Lead functional workshops to capture requirements, define pricing strategies, and design robust architectures within Oracle Cloud Pricing and Order Management.
• Core Module Configuration:
  Configure and maintain core pricing components, including Price Lists, Discount Lists, Shipping Charge Lists, Tiered/Attribute-based Pricing, Currency Conversions, Pricing Strategies, and Matrix Classes.
• Algorithm Customization:
  Design, configure, and maintain custom Pricing Algorithms, Service Mappings, and Pricing Rules using Groovy scripts or native business logic engines to support complex aggregation requirements.
• Cross-Module Integration:
  Align Oracle Pricing seamlessly with Order Management Cloud, Subscription Management, CPQ, Procurement, and Financials (AR/GL).
• Documentation & Testing:
  Author Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Configuration Workbooks (MC050/DS050). Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-user enablement.
• Optimization & Support:
  Diagnose critical functional issues, optimize performance bottlenecks, and navigate quarterly Oracle release updates.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM/Pricing, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
• Core Expertise:
  Deep functional mastery of Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management and Pricing Cloud.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Hands-on experience writing and troubleshooting Pricing Algorithms, Service Mappings, and Groovy script logic within Oracle Cloud.
• Adjacent Module Knowledge:
  Working knowledge of Oracle CPQ Cloud, Subscription Management, Oracle Financials (AR/GL), and Oracle BPM workflows.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
