Job Overview: As a Building Maintenance & Operations Specialist at MEDITECH, you will keep our facilities safe, clean, and operational. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot facility systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Perform preventative maintenance using hand tools, power tools, ladders, chemicals, motorized equipment, and lifts.
• Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, electrical, energy management/card access, fire alarm, and other facility systems.
• Acknowledge and follow proper use and safety procedures of all equipment, including chemicals.
• Support day‑to‑day project work: electrical, plumbing, housekeeping, general facility maintenance, conference/training room setup, general facility security.
• Troubleshoot phone, data, PC, and network issues; assist with purchasing, shipping, receiving, and snow removal.
• Provide building security and assist Corporate Solutions as needed.
• Work overtime and holidays; be available for weekend nights and days.

Weekdays, Monday–Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM; 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM;
Weekend nights, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM;
Weekend days 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

• Possession of a trade license (preferred); high school diploma, associate degree, or 5+ years experience (preferred).
• Handy person experience; exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication and troubleshooting in many areas.
• Ability to work independently and provide on‑call support.
• Ability to move equipment 50–200 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
• General knowledge of PC and e‑mail functions.
