Junior Interior Designer

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Develop plans and designs that enhance a living space based on the needs of a client.
• Plans use and layout of the space and decorating with color, furniture, fixtures, etc..
• Responsible for planning the use and layout of the space and decorating with color, furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Develop drawings, presentations, and cost estimates.
• Develop furniture plans, renderings, technical drawings for custom millwork, custom furniture, tile layouts, and plumbing locations.
• Research, design, select, specify and document furniture, fixtures, lighting, finishes, millwork, etc.
• Coordinate the work of contractors and vendors.
• Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
• Work is closely managed.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in interior design.

• 0-2 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in interior design.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Team player with a willingness to learn
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Photoshop, Sketchup & the Microsoft Suite
