Registered Nurse – NICU

Level II Nicu Nurse

Seeking a dedicated Level II NICU Nurse to provide specialized care for neonatal patients during 3x12 hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and applicable certifications to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive neonatal nursing care to critically ill infants in the NICU setting.
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage clinical interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Adjust care strategies based on patient response and evolving medical needs.
• Float to Baby Nurse duties as needed, ensuring flexible patient support.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state or compact license in nursing at the time of submission.
• Possess current BLS, NRP, or NRP Advanced certifications.
• Bring at least two years of NICU experience, with travel experience preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to manage patient ratios of 1:2 effectively.
• Be prepared to complete onboarding modules onsite during orientation.
• Comply with 50-mile radius rule, no local candidates.
