Overview
This Accountant position is located in Wethersfield, Connecticut and has responsibility and accountability for performing a variety of professional accounting duties including coordinating vendor/supplier accounts payable, job costing and subcontractor compliance, monitoring project budgets, preparation of financial reports, assistance with contract administration and billing plus various other projects.
Responsibilities- Coordinate vendor and supplier accounts payable
- Manage job costing and subcontractor compliance
- Monitor project budgets and prepare financial reports
- Assist with contract administration and billing
- Support various other accounting projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1–5 years of experience with vendor accounts payable functions
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight time constraints
- Advanced computer proficiency
- Experience with construction industry software (e.g., Sage 300, Procore)
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
