Senior Tax Accountant

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Bonus

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing, well-established CPA firm that is experiencing significant demand and literally turning away new business due to capacity. They are looking to add a Senior Tax Accountant who wants meaningful client exposure, strong leadership visibility, and a clear path for career growth.

This is a high-impact role in a small, collaborative firm where you will work directly with ownership and play a key role in both client delivery and process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
  • Sign off on completed returns (credential required)
  • Serve as a key client contact and provide advisory support
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the tax function
  • Collaborate closely with firm leadership on tax strategy and operations
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on tax experience (individual + business returns)
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA)
    • CPA preferred, but not required
    • Must be able to sign tax returns
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills
  • Interest in contributing to firm growth and operational improvement
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $90K – $110K
  • Bonus potential: performance + business development incentives
