Accounting Manager

Johnson Brunetti, a dynamic, fast-paced financial advisory firm, has a need for an Accounting Manager to assist the Controller as the Company continues to expand.

This is not a telecommuting position but will be based in the Company’s Wethersfield, CT office.

• Bi-weekly payroll submission and commission calculations.
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
• Cash management and account reconciliations.
• Month end close and preparation of financial statements and various other reports.
• Special projects and client tax preparation as needed.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with internal team and external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Hands on experience with Quick Books accounting software and MS office products.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work with confidential data and respect the confidentiality of the books and records.
• Experience with and knowledge of individual tax preparation.
• Self-starter and eager to learn attitude.
• BS in Accounting and CPA or CPA candidate.
• Minimum 3 years hands on accounting and tax experience.
