The Wethersfield Public Schools partner with the community and families in fostering our students' ongoing education in a safe and secure learning environment. Our schools are demographically diverse and are characterized by respectful behavior, trusting relationships, caring educators/administrators/staff and continuous learning.
This position will be "on call" and used as needed throughout the school year to assist students who are unable to attend school. The number of hours per day/week worked by the Homebound Tutor will vary. Tutoring services may be provided at a location determined by the parent and administrator, or virtually, if needed.

Duties Will Include:
* Devise and implement an instructional program for assigned students
* Meet with students as scheduled to provide instruction
* Maintain and submit reports detailing student progress
* Adjust student learning experiences as necessary
* Apply appropriate assessment instruments pertinent to area of instruction
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Ability to work collaboratively with students, teaching staff and families
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong planning and organizational skills
