Assistant Football Coach
Wethersfield High School has an opening for an Assistant Football Coach for the Fall 2026 season. To fill this position, we are looking for a motivated and dedicated leader with superior communication and teaching skills to fill this critical opening in our school.

The Assistant Football Coach will provide guidance and direction to the team under the leadership of our Head Football Coach. The chosen coach will be responsible for teaching and implementing game strategies, developing and honing player fundamentals and teaching the sport with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm. This position is vital to our school as the individual has regular and constant interaction with our students, parents/families and community.
To be considered, candidates must hold all required certifications and trainings and must have prior experience coaching in the sport. Additionally, candidates must be available to attend after school, evening and weekend practices/games as dictated by the athletic department.
