Hamer Elementary School is seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to serve as our Long-Term Substitute Grade 4 Teacher to fill an opening. The position is vital to our school as the staff member has regular and influential interaction with students, staff and parents/families. This role will be filled immediately.

The substitute Grade 4 Teacher will be responsible for all common teacher responsibilities, including but not limited to preparing and delivering lessons and ensuring students receive regular feedback and assessment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- Appropriate CT Certification credentials are preferred, but not required
- Background, experience Excellent oral communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to interact with students, staff and parents
- Ability to plan and organize work schedule and set priorities and work independently and with a sense of urgency
- Excellent classroom management skills with both small and large groups
- Ability to handle and treat information confidentially
