Our OMFS Operational Technology (OT) team supports water, wastewater, and industrial utility clients with secure, resilient, modernized OT environments. As part of this mission, we are expanding our portfolio of Operational Technology Managed Services and we’re looking for a leader to build, mature, and scale them across our projects nationwide.

Jacobs is seeking a resilient, visionary Operational Technology (OT) Managed Services Manager
. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and operationalizing a growing suite of distributed OT services that enhance the reliability, security, and lifecycle management of client environments. You will collaborate with internal technical teams, Operations leadership, project managers, and client stakeholders to embed these services into both existing facilities and new projects.

You’ll drive initiatives that enhance efficiency and reliability of automation systems. Ensure alignment with Jacobs’ mission to deliver secure, practical technology solutions for water and wastewater facilities.

This role is ideal for a seasoned OT professional with deep infrastructure expertise, a passion for service development, and a track record of delivering secure, reliable technology solutions in mission-critical operational environments.

• Design, implement, and operationalize a growing suite of distributed OT services to enhance reliability, security, and lifecycle management of client environments.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams, Operations leadership, project managers, and client stakeholders to embed services into existing facilities and new projects.
• Drive initiatives that improve efficiency and reliability of automation systems.
• Align OT service offerings with Jacobs’ mission to deliver secure, practical technology solutions for water and wastewater facilities.
• Lead and mature a team to support nationwide deployment of OT Managed Services.

• Minimum 5+ years in an Operational Technology environment. Proven leadership experience managing multi-regional teams and complex projects.
• +3 years’ experience in medium business, municipal, or enterprise IT.
• A solid technical foundation focusing on cyber security and networking across multiple platforms.
• Background in electrical or electronic practical applications, alarm systems, etc.
• Current valid Real r’s license with no major infractions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50% across the US.

• A visionary mindset; forward-planning and focus on what is important.
• Certifications/Training in IT or Cyber Security; degree or technical certification (e.g., CCNA, CEH, GIAC SE, CompTIA A+, CISSP).
