About the Position
VHB's Wethersfield, CT office is seeking an Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team and learn how to design and permit all kinds of challenging and rewarding projects.
Responsibilities- Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of complex land development projects.
- Civil engineering design and permitting of residential, industrial, hospitality, institutional and commercial sites including grading and drainage, utilities, roadways and parking.
- Preparing plans and reports in support of State and local permitting.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with strong desire to learn and grow.
- Thrives in a team environment.
- Ability to think critically and creatively.
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 0‑1 years of engineering experience.
- AutoCAD, Hydro
CAD and Storm
CAD experience (preferred). - Competent with Microsoft Office products.
