Human Resources Generalist – Employee Relations
Temporary Opportunity in Wethersfield, CT - fully on-site
$28-32/hr, based on experience
In partnership with a longstanding client, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in employee relations to support a collaborative HR team on a temporary basis. This role will serve as a key point of contact for employees and leadership while managing sensitive employee relations matters and supporting broader HR functions as needed.
Responsibilities- Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related questions and concerns
- Manage employee relations matters from intake through resolution, including investigations, interviews, documentation, and collaboration with leadership
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and employee files
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support additional HR functions including benefits inquiries, onboarding, talent acquisition support, and general HR administration
- Partner with internal stakeholders to promote positive employee relations and consistent HR practices
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience required
- Hands‑on employee relations experience including investigations and conflict resolution
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems preferred
