Core Solutions Analyst

Our core systems power everything — from member transactions to lending, reporting, and daily operations. We’re looking for a Core Solutions Analyst who can help keep those systems running smoothly while continuously looking for ways to make them better.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and being the person others count on when systems need attention.

You’ll help maintain the systems that support the day-to-day operations of the credit union — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency.

From troubleshooting issues to configuring enhancements, you’ll help teams across the organization work more efficiently and with less friction.

The work you do may happen behind the curtain, but its impact is felt everywhere — improving workflows, reducing disruptions, and helping employees better serve members.

You’ll support and help optimize the Symitar core banking system and related technologies that power the credit union.

Your work will include:

• Supporting system administration, configurations, updates, and enhancements
• Troubleshooting issues and identifying practical solutions
• Building and modifying Power On programs to support business needs
• Managing document mapping processes and batch jobs
• Supporting system-connected devices and operational technologies across the organization

You’ll also help improve workflows, reduce manual processes, and support ongoing system performance and reliability.

You’ll take what’s complex and make it work better.

• Support the daily administration and maintenance of the Symitar core banking system
• Configure system settings, updates, reports, and operational changes
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with vendors when needed
• Support testing and deployment of system updates and enhancements
• Assist with automation, batch processing, and system integrations
• Provide reliable support that helps teams stay productive and moving forward

This role requires strong follow-through, curiosity, and problem-solving.

You’ll manage competing priorities, collaborate across teams, and help keep momentum moving while balancing both day-to-day needs and larger improvements.

Success in this role comes from staying organized, thinking critically, and being proactive when opportunities for improvement arise.

You’ve built experience working with core systems and enjoy finding smarter ways to solve problems.

• 3+ years of experience in a Jack Henry Symitar environment
• Hands-on experience with Power On programming, system configuration, and batch processing
• Experience supporting production systems and resolving issues in real time
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent experience
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt in a fast-moving environment

Experience with
Meridian Link
, automation initiatives,
SQL
, Power BI
, or working within a credit union or financial institution is a plus.
