The Connecticut Department of Correction's Strategic Planning and Implementation Unit seeks a Research Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the agency. The role involves data preparation, analysis, report writing, and program development using SAS and other analytical tools to support operational and administrative functions within the correctional system. This is a hybrid position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) offering professional development and access to a team of skilled specialists.
Keyqualifications:
- Six years of professional experience in research, data analysis, or economics
- Knowledge of Statistical Analysis System (SAS) software or willingness to train
- Strong data analysis, program writing, and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of research methods, statistics, and data interpretation
- Oral and written communication skills
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, or mainframe/FTP systems (preferred)
