CVOR RN in Wetumpka, AL

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent CVOR nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical protocols and sterile technique
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiovascular surgeons and surgical teams during procedures in the CVOR
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes throughout the perioperative period
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain strict sterile techniques and infection control standards at all times
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic records
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nursing staff
• Provide diligent postoperative care as needed
