CONSULTANT AND REGISTRAR doctors IN ENDOCRINOLOGY
Description: Bologna Health Jobs has a new exciting opportunities for a CONSULTANT AND REGISTRAR endocrinology doctors in one of the most important HSE hospitals in Ireland .
Consultant position:
Location: Republic of Ireland – Munster Region (Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford)
Speciality: Medicine - Diabetes & Endocrinology
Role: Consultant (6+ years post graduate experience)
Duration: 12 months MINIMUM Start date: ASAP
*** Pay rate: € 9,000 (dependent on experience) basic salary plus on-calls, rota allowance, could earn up to 300,000 € per year as a salary
The Department:
This is an extremely active department, currently with three consultants based in Munster.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 7 years experience (after primary medical qualification) in the practice of the medical profession, of which no less than 5 have been devoted to your chosen specialty.
2. Very high level of English (at least B2). Preferably with experience in an English speaking country.
3. Registered with the IMC in the specialist register. We will help all candidates to do this if they are not yet registered
4. All candidates that are not yet registered should be qualified as a specialist in the EU or alternatively should of had this title recognized in a EU member state.
5. Knowledge in General internal medicine , and manage patients of GIM
Registrar position:
Endocrinology Registrar (Medical Registrar)
Bologna Health Jobs is also currently recruiting for a Endocrinology Registrar to work in a University Teaching Hospital. This large teaching hospital is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI). This position would suit an experienced Medical Registrar with a strong interest in Endocrinology.
The successful candidate will work as an important part of the multi-disciplinary team too. Providing unparalleled patient care in a well-run medical Centre with modern, advanced facilities.
The registrar is responsible for providing frontline and hands-on care for a wide variety of patients . Not only does the registrar provide lifesaving medical care, they are also responsible for guiding and training the junior staff (SHO's).
Requirements for registrar positions:
-Minimum experience of 4-5 years at a Hospital is essential.
3-The candidates will have to register with the IMC (Irish Medical Council) at least in the General Register for Registrar posts (if they haven’t done so yet). Assistance will be granted to do this and we will help you all the way through. Please take into account that the registration process typically takes up to 5 months since doctors start the paper work so it will be advisable to start ASAP as doctors can’t take up a job place till they are registered.
4- The level of English requested is very high (equivalent at least to a C1 level). Fluency in written and spoken English will be indispensible. We recommend to pass the IELTS
