Oil Field Technician

Position: Oil Field Technician Role
Step into a rewarding Oil Field Technician role at Southern Industrial & Truck in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Focus on diagnosing and repairing drilling and service rig equipment in the field.

This position requires a motivated individual skilled in troubleshooting various equipment, including gensets and trucks. You'll be responsible for ensuring all repairs are executed safely while collaborating with other oilfield personnel. Your daily tasks will also involve ordering parts and using computers to document all repair activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose issues and repair drilling and service equipment

• Order necessary parts for equipment repairs

• Ensure all work is performed safely and accurately

• Utilize a computer for documentation purposes

• Work primarily in oil fields, with occasional shop duties

Requirements:

• Current driver's license and valid passport

• Certifications in First Aid, CPR & H2S

• Proficient in diagnosing oil field equipment

• Skilled in truck and trailer repairs

• Ability to work collaboratively with others
