Position Summary:

Provide core clerical and data entry support to ensure accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices, payment distributions, and account records. Assist the Accounting Manager with daily financial transactions and cross-train to support other departmental functions, such as Accounts Receivable, as needed.

• Match vendor invoices with purchase orders (POs) and receiving documents to verify accurate pricing and quantities.
• Verify mathematical accuracy of all line items, totals, and calculations on incoming vendor invoices.
• Identify discrepancies and proactively follow up on missing paperwork with internal departments or vendors.
• Perform high-volume data entry by accurately entering vendor invoices into the Syteline ERP system.
• Assist with weekly check runs and process ACH payments according to the established schedule.
• Match remittance advices to complete voucher packages following payment distribution.
• Perform operational bank reconciliations and maintain the weekly AP control sheet to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain organized files and physical or digital records for all accounts payable documentation, vouchers, and checks.
