Executive Assistant of Student ServicesWeymouth Public Schools is a dynamic and inclusive learning community dedicated to "Educational Excellence for Every Weymouth Student." We educate over 5,600 students across 11 school buildings, including an early childhood center, eight elementary schools (grades K‑5), Chapman Middle School (grades 6‑8), and Weymouth High School (grades 9‑12).
Our highly qualified educators and staff provide personalized attention and support to ensure that every student thrives.
The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Executive Director of Student Services. Working with minimal supervision, the role provides high‑level administrative support, handles sensitive and confidential student information, and coordinates activities essential to departmental efficiency and responsiveness.
General Responsibilities- Provide high‑level administrative support to the Student Services Department.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all duties.
- Liaison with families, staff, administrators and SEPAC regarding departmental and student related issues.
- Provide immediate support for staff and family concerns.
- Facilitate department‑wide training and troubleshooting for X2 student management system, Docu Sign, Safety Care certifications, etc.
- Oversight of department rosters to ensure compliance and appropriate staffing allocations.
- Organization, staffing, and supervision of district‑wide extended year services to ensure coordinated special education service delivery.
- Facilitate district initiatives and events, including Unified Game Day.
- Assist with data collection and submission of DESE required annual reports and indicators regarding district compliance with state and federal mandates via the special education file exchange portal.
- High school diploma.
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of three years of related experience; five preferred.
- Strong clerical and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Munis, Aspen, and similar software and databases.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in complex and changing environments.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with administrators, teachers, staff, parents, guardians, students, and community members.
- Outstanding communicator with the ability to convey messaging to diverse audiences.
- 12 months, non‑Union.
- 35 hours per week.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
