The Current South Shore offers 91 independent living apartments, 48 assisted living apartments, and 26 memory care apartments, with a neighborhood atmosphere and maintenance‑free lifestyle. It is located near South Shore Hospital and directly across from the South Weymouth Train Station, providing easy access for team members and residents’ families.

The Driver provides transportation for residents to company‑sponsored activities and medical appointments and assists the activities team in setting up and conducting activities and programming for residents.

Salary Range: $22.00 – $25.00 hourly

• Drive residents to and from their assigned destinations in a safe manner.
• Inspect the vehicle before each use to ensure it is safe and clean.
• Perform or ensure preventive maintenance is carried out in a timely manner.
• Secure passengers and their equipment (wheelchairs, walkers) before departure.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and resident attendance.
• Assist in setting up tables and chairs for resident activities within the community.
• Conduct activities and programming for residents.
• Participate in and attend all in‑service training as scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and community policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or higher level of education.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a senior driver is preferred.

• Must perform standing, walking, sitting, using fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling.
• Must lift or carry up to 50 lbs and support residents using proper body mechanics.
