Weymouth Public Schools is dedicated to educational excellence and seeks van monitors who accompany students with disabilities from their homes to school.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the van driver in ensuring seat belts, harnesses and wheelchair clamps are secured as required.
• Consult and assist van driver in documentation of student information and record‑keeping.
• Maintain discipline on the school van; monitor and assist students while the bus is in operation.
• Assist with safe loading, unloading and seating arrangements of students as required.

Requirements:

• 5 hours per school day – School year only (possible summer work).
• Experience with special‑needs students preferred.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Transportation Supervisor.
