Registered Nurse – Critical Care Night Shift

This position involves providing individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, and care delivery in accordance with policies and procedures.

• Administering, transcribing, and documenting medications following policies, including narcotic management and reconciliation.
• Developing, evaluating, and updating patient care plans, documenting outcomes, and assessing patient needs and comfort levels.
• Facilitating patient/family-centered care, effective communication, and discharge planning.
• Ensuring safety by verifying patient identity, practicing proper infection control, and understanding emergency protocols.
• Engaging in professional development, adhering to legal and ethical standards, and responding to feedback.
• Utilizing technology for documentation and communication, and maintaining compliance with policies.
• Supporting patient privacy, promoting a culture of safety, and respecting cultural and age-related differences.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (preferred).
• Previous acute care RN experience is preferred.
• Valid RN license and relevant certifications such as BLS; additional certifications may be required depending on department.
