American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift Birthing Unit role requiring MA RN licensure and circulating experience.
Details- Work in the Obstetrics Birthing Unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (7p-7:30am)
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active MA RN license (temporary license accepted)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate-level EFM
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Circulating experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Preferred certifications: ALSO, NCC Perinatal (RNC-MNN or RNC-OB), and First Latch breastfeeding certification
- Provide nursing care within the Birthing Unit including labor, delivery, and circulating duties
- Blue scrubs are a safe color choice though no specific color is required
- No more than 7 days of RTO allowed during the assignment
- Former permanent staff at the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
