Salary Band: £18.00 - £21.00 per hour
Location: Dorset area including Weymouth

12 week probation period on a temporary contract with offer to go permanent for the right person.

• Join projects across Somerset and Dorset region, including Bridgwater, with office based in Yeovil.
• Work 07:30‑17:00 Monday to Friday, with up to 1 hour travel.
• Perform a variety of second fix tasks: fitting small kitchens and bathrooms, installing skirting boards, putting locks on doors, fitting splashbacks, repairing UPVC doors and windows, general maintenance to ensure functionality.
• Social housing experience essential; work in tenanted properties on general repair and maintenance.
• Basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, floor laying, mould and damp treatment desirable.
• Use job tickets or handheld devices linked to a live shared system.
• Manage own day and workload effectively.
• Always deliver outstanding service to customers with understanding that you are working in their homes.
• Follow exemplary health and safety policies and standards.

Upon successful completion of assignments, a positive finishing reference will secure further long‑term opportunities.

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with second fix skills.
• NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full set of tools and PPE.
• References for similar work in a residential setting.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• DBS check required.
• Social housing experience essential.
