Location:

Dorset area including Weymouth. Salary: £18.00 - £21.00 per hour. Travel: up to 1 hour.

Working hours:

07:30–17:00, Monday to Friday. Office based in Yeovil for project coordination. 12-week probation on a temporary contract with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The site is accessible by public transport and parking is available.

• Perform a variety of second-fix tasks, including fitting small kitchens and bathrooms, installing skirting boards, fitting locks on doors, and fitting splashbacks.
• Carry out repairs of UPVC doors and windows, kitchen repairs and installations, and general maintenance to ensure functionality.
• Work in social housing environments within tenanted properties on general repairs and maintenance.
• Work from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis, linked to a live shared system.
• Manage your own day-to-day workload effectively and deliver an outstanding service to customers in their homes.
• Follow health and safety policies and standards at all times.

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with second fix skills; multi-trade joinery background preferred.
• Social housing experience is essential.
• Basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, floor laying, mould and damp treatment are desirable.
• NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery.
• Full UK driving license.
• Valid CSCS card; full set of tools and PPE.
• DBS check is required prior to starting.
• References for similar work in a residential setting.
