THE ROLE
As a Diagnostic Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repair work while ensuring every vehicle is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify vehicle issues
Supporting fellow technicians with technical guidance when required
Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
Delivering excellent customer satisfaction through first-time fix quality
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician within the automotive industry
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
Experience using modern manufacturer diagnostic equipment
A genuine desire to continue learning and progressing within the industry
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
