As a systems engineer on our team you will shape the next generation of weapon systems by leading engineering efforts to design and develop high‑quality customized solutions. Your customer will trust you to design, develop, and evolve these systems with advanced technology. You will broaden your skill set into areas such as munitions propulsion and merge systems engineering with modernization requirements to enhance lethality, performance, survivability, and safety across critical defense programs.

• 4+ years of experience in an engineering discipline such as systems or mechanical engineering
• Experience performing engineering analysis on systems and components
• Experience deriving requirements (functional, non‑functional, technical) to guide development and implementation
• Experience in the development and analysis of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
• Ability to run failure‑investigation teams to identify technical issues and propose resolutions
• Ability to develop and execute test plans and analyze results
• Ability to support the program manager with cost and schedule estimates
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

• Knowledge of precision‑guided artillery systems, including warheads, fuzing, airframe, and guidance technologies
• Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle
• Knowledge of high‑G design of electronics
• Ability to lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) discussions and present findings to senior leaders
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
