Maintenance Mechanic

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure our machinery operates efficiently and safely. Compensation: $31-$33 per hours

Location:

Wharton, NJ

• Perform production line changeovers and assist in line setups to ensure seamless operations.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and lubrication of machinery based on a scheduled maintenance plan.
• Maintain a safe work environment by inspecting production lines and reporting hazards.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for efficient tracking.
• Mentor and train mechanic trainees on troubleshooting and repairs, sharing your expertise with the team.
• Engage in welding, machine shop work, and part fabrication.
• Organize and clean storage spaces, ensuring an orderly work environment.
• Assist in new project work and adapt to changing tasks as needed.

• Proven mechanical ability demonstrated through observation and testing.
• Comfortable using hand tools and trade-specific tools (both Metric and Standard).
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical control schematics.
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to their training.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (reading and speaking).
