Machinist

We are seeking an experienced, mechanically inclined Machinist to join our facility in Wharton, NJ. This role is responsible for operating a variety of machine tools to manufacture, repair, and restore mechanical assemblies while maintaining strict quality and measurement standards. The ideal candidate will have strong milling and machining experience, a solid understanding of precision measurement, and the ability to follow established repair procedures.

• Operate manual and conventional machining equipment to manufacture and repair mechanical components.
• Perform milling operations including drilling, tapping, boring, and related machining processes.
• Review, inspect, and repair defective machine parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Utilize and maintain precision measuring devices to ensure proper sizing and tolerances.
• Conduct conventional milling and lathe work using engine lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, and horizontal boring mills.
• Apply various metalizing (metal spraying) techniques as required.
• Follow all applicable repair procedures, including E/B B31213 and B40816 (current revisions) and approved repair plans.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment.

• Minimum 5 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
• Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with drilling, tapping, boring, conventional milling, and lathe operations.
• Ability to read and follow technical repair procedures and documentation.
• Experience with metalizing or metal spraying processes preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
