Line Production Mechanic

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Line Production Mechanic to work with a leading company in the personal care manufacturing sector in Wharton. This role is essential for maintaining high-efficiency production lines through expert mechanical and electrical support, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and safely.

30 per hour

• 3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am

• 27.00 - 30.00 USD hourly

• Explain your production line changeover process, including tooling inspection and storage, while ensuring minimal downtime.
• Describe diagnosing and repairing an urgent electrical or mechanical machinery breakdown safely and quickly under pressure.
• How do you use checklists for preventive maintenance on components, lubrication, and safety hazards? Explain how you would train a junior mechanic.

• This position requires working with air compressors, vacuum pumps, and performing welding/part fabrication. What is your comfort level and experience with these specific tools and equipment?
• Are you comfortable with a role that requires high visual attention and potential Saturday overtime?
• Bilingual skills are preferred.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Execute equipment changeovers and assist in the installation of new machinery.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Supervise and train junior mechanics on troubleshooting and repair procedures.
• Ensure a safe work environment by inspecting production lines and reporting safety hazards immediately.
