At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Compo under to work with a leading company in the personal care industry in Wharton. This role involves weighing, mixing, and compounding raw materials to produce cosmetic and OTC drug products in compliance with approved formulas, batch records, and cGMP requirements.

Shift patterns
  • 2nd shift, 3pm to 11pm
  • 3rd shift, 11pm to 7am
Pay rates
  • 29.00 - 30.00 USD hourly
Essential requirements for Compo under
  • Do you have min 1-2 years of experience compounding for foods, cosmetics or pharmaceuticals?
  • Can you walk me through your experience weighing, dispensing, and compounding raw materials?
  • How do you ensure compliance with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)?
  • Tell me about a time you discovered a discrepancy or deviation during production. What did you do?
  • What experience do you have operating mixing, blending, or compounding equipment?
  • How do you prioritize quality and accuracy when working under tight production deadlines?
Desirable requirements for Compo under
  • What steps would you take before starting a new manufacturing batch?
  • How do you verify that you are using the correct raw materials before beginning a batch?
  • Describe a time when you had to follow a detailed procedure with little room for error.
  • What would you do if an in-process parameter, such as temperature or viscosity, was outside the specified range?
Role for Compo under
  • Weigh and dispense raw materials according to batch records.
  • Operate and monitor mixing and compounding equipment.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation accurately and in real time.
  • Perform in-process checks and report process abnormalities promptly.
  • Collaborate with QA, QC, and Warehouse teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace according to SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE standards.
  • Assist with material handling and inventory control.
