Ensures adherence to company and customer standards and specifications for acceptance of incoming components and finished materials. Assures that proper documentation is maintained and that the finished materials are in full compliance.
Essential Functions- Performs routine quality audits of finished materials
- Performs line clearance procedures to assure package integrity
- Prepares quality control documents
- Selects samples of finished materials for presentation to the customer using the customer prescribed sampling plan
- Assures that all labels and identity stamps are correct and positioned as required
- Assists Production Department personnel to understand customer’s quality requirements
- Maintains all inspection equipment in good working order, calibrating equipment to the required standard
- Identifies the finished materials as “Accepted” or “Held” according to customer’s quality requirements
- Places non-conforming items on hold for review by department heads to determine disposition
- Maintains the Quality Assurance Department in a clean and orderly manner
- Reports any safety concerns for immediate corrective action
- Other duties assigned
- Ability to read and understand procedures SOP's, detail oriented and follow GMPs (good manufacturing practices)

- Minimum 2 years (or equivalent) experience in performing quality control functions
- Able to speak and read English (Spanish A+)
- Understand written procedures
- Good oral communication and written documentation skills
- Occasional overtime
1st - 7am - 3pm
2nd - 3pm - 11pm
3rd - 11pm - 7am
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
