Job Description
Administrative Assistant – Property Management Office
Responsibilities- Retrieves incoming calls in a professional manner and delivers a high level of customer service.
- Dispatches and tracks routine work orders to maintenance staff or other responsible parties ensuring timely completion.
- Coordinates vendor/contractor services to support daily property operations.
- Assists with lease administration including move‑in/move‑out procedures.
- Assists with tenant relations and event coordination.
- Develops presentations, proposals, correspondence, and management reports.
- Maintains service agreements log and ensures tenant and vendor certificates meet all requirements.
- Maintains electronic file system.
- Maintains key & card control for vendor/contractor/tenant access.
- Composes routine professional correspondence.
- Assists with property inspections as assigned.
- Performs all general office duties and special projects as required.
High school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 2–3 years’ experience as an administrative assistant.
- Must be located in Wheat Ridge, CO or surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Must be in office, on site, 5 days a week.
- Advanced computer skills using MS Office applications (Word & Excel a must).
- Proficient knowledge of accounting principles & practices.
- Property management software experience a plus.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills (oral & written) to promote positive client/tenant relations.
- Ability to exercise prudent judgment in the absence of supervisory personnel.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $26/hour – $31/hour. Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as work location, skills, relevant experience, and business needs. In addition to base pay, employees at Ventas are eligible for performance‑based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and other wellness benefits under applicable plan terms.
