Our dental assistants are empowered to educate our patients on dental treatment and procedures.

We believe themost important function of any dental team member is care of the patient.
Our Dental Assistantsworkhands onwith the doctors,inprovidingexceptionalcare for our patients while working efficiently to maintain patient flow.
- Assist doctors in all dental procedures and treatment
- Sterilize,disinfect and prepare instruments andequipmentfor patient treatment
- Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by thedoctor
- Presenting treatment to patients based ondoctorrecommendations
- Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients in an efficient and timely manner
- Record patient charting and all the doctor’s notes in the digital patient chart as directed
- Maintain inventory and supplies
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, and Risaspolicies and practices)
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- X-ray certification orability to obtain within 3months ofhire
- Coronal polish certification preferred
- 1-2years' experience in the dental field preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must have asuperior knowledge of dental clinical operationsandterminology
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patients
- Must haveawarmfriendly, outgoing personality and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player,to teammates as needed.
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week
