Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

* Join Our Team as a Pediatric COTA - 4 day work week (27-36 hrs)
* We are seeking one COTA to join our small team of pediatric specialists and help shape the future of our young patients. At four days per week in our Wheat Ridge location, a typical day includes nine treatment sessions and an hour lunch. We are well known for our strengths in treating children with sensory processing disorders and have a consistent waitlist - giving you confidence in your hours.

* About Us:

* We are a pediatric healthcare clinic with an excellent reputation that has worked with children and their families for the past 38 years. We are somewhat unique in that each therapist has a private sensory gym that acts as their office and treating space. Further, we work within a multidisciplinary environment with other pediatric focused professionals who are committed to fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.

* Position Overview:

* As a clinician with us, you will have the opportunity to provide individualized therapeutic interventions. There is no group therapy at Sensory Pathways. The team is a close-knit group made up of 2 OT's and 2 other COTA's. You will work with families and caregivers to implement comprehensive treatment plans that promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance quality of life.

* Key Responsibilities:

* * Design and implement customized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

* Provide direct therapy services in clinic

* Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

* Educate and empower families on therapeutic strategies and home programs.

* Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and team members.

* Qualifications:

* * Associates Degree as Occupational Therapy Assistant

* Current state license (or eligibility) to practice as a COTA.

* Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
