Precision Aluminum Assembly & Machining Technician

Role Snapshot Join TMMI, a Rocky Mountain automation partner delivering smart sensors, robotics, and custom aluminum framing systems and machine structures that boost manufacturers’ productivity, safety, and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities Cut aluminum extrusion and parts with automated saw equipment to precise dimensions.

Drill, mill, tap, and deburr per specifications; verify tolerances with measuring tools.

Assemble aluminum frames, workstations, machine guarding, carts, and bespoke structures.

Install brackets, fasteners, panels, and accessories based on engineering drawings.

Interpret CAD drawings/prints and work instructions; communicate discrepancies to engineering and project teams.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; assist with inventory and material handling.

Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.

Contribute to continuous improvement for quality and efficiency.

Preferred Experience 2+ years in fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, machining, or a related trade.

Comfort reading mechanical drawings and blueprints.

Experience with saws, drill presses, mills, or comparable shop tools.

Mechanical aptitude; confident with hand and power tools.

Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).Attributes for Success Detail-driven, quality-focused mindset.

Positive, learning-oriented attitude.

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a shop setting.
