Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down / Intermediate Care Unit position in Golden, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU/progressive care experience and active CO or Compact RN licensure.

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required (must not expire prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of Step Down / progressive care / intermediate care RN experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• 32-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) within a hospital setting in Golden, CO
• Progressive care / intermediate care patient population, including patients requiring IV drip management and higher acuity monitoring
• Night shift schedule: 1900–0730, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend availability required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Manages IV drips and cares for more acute intermediate care patients
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, health teaching, therapy and treatment plan monitoring, documentation, and patient referrals
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• BSN is preferred but not required
