Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse
The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.
The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Wheat Ridge, CO (Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan)
Shift 1: (24 hr/wk) Evenings (6:00pm to Midnight) on Thursday and Friday, and one twelve (12) hour shift on Wednesday (7:00am-7:00pm)
OR
Shift 2: (36 hr/wk) Three (12 hour) shifts - Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7:00am to 7:00pm.
13 week assignments starting 6/29
Looking for a self-starter, with solid medical knowledge and comfortable speaking up and offering clinical insight. Must be comfortable to train QMAP staff when needed.
Nurse will work in the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) unit, but will be cross trained in the Youth Residential Recovery (YRR) and Adult Residential Recovery (ARR). All units are within same facility.
