Position Details
Full-time (36 hours per week), night shift (7pm-7am), eligible for night and weekend differentials.
Essential Functions- Assesses patients' physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills.
- Seeks and evaluates information from interdisciplinary team members—patient, family, physician, and other health professionals—to inform care.
- Uses assessment information and critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care, involving patient, family, team, and physician.
- Plans and prepares patients for additional support after current episode of care, including teaching, referrals, and follow‑up.
- Directs the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration.
- Delivers or delegates care consistent with the plan of care, guidelines, and licensure provisions.
- Prioritizes and organizes patient care delivery by managing time, supplies, and resources.
- Evaluates patient response to interventions, reviews achievement of goals, clinical outcomes, and satisfaction, and revises plans as needed.
- Promotes the nursing profession and participates in the development of others.
- Integrates legal and ethical standards into practice, complies with regulatory standards, documents accurately and timely, and understands legal implications of care.

- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Valid compact license transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Minimum of 12 months experience requires BSN within 4 years of hire date.
BSN degree from an accredited institution, verified.
Physical RequirementsOngoing need to see, read, and assess patient information; frequent verbal communication; manual dexterity for complex equipment and documentation; ability to lift and move patients and supplies, including heavy items; walking, ambulation, and assisting patients; sustained standing or walking; may involve driving as a job requirement.
LocationIntermountain Health Lutheran Hospital, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
CompensationHourly rate: $37.17 - $56.17 (depending on experience).
