DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role requiring a CO or compact license and multiple emergency certifications.
Details- Work in a hospital Emergency Department
- Variable mid and night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts
- May be required to float to other departments based on business need
- May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic for clinical documentation
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS certifications required
- Certifications must not expire prior to assignment start date
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced ED setting
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Refer and monitor patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment

Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
