Position Overview

Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) – A career‑first role in a fast‑paced retail environment that offers competitive pay ($16.00–$17.50 hourly, based on experience), a $0.50 raise upon completion of a 5‑week paid training program, and the opportunity for rapid advancement into a Pawnbroker, Lead Pawnbroker, or Assistant Manager position.

• Provide friendly, courteous, and respectful service to customers in person and on the phone.
• Process sales, loans, and loan extensions.
• Perform opening and closing store duties.
• Maintain a welcoming environment that differentiates our store from competitors.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic, self‑motivated, positive, outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer).
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items (e.g., tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus.
• Sales background, bilingual ability or other skills are a plus.
