Environmental Sample Courier - 2nd shift

Position:
Courier (Wheat Ridge, CO laboratory)

Shift: 2nd shift – Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-9:00pm. Shift differential offered.

• Follow a pre‑defined route to pick up samples from clients and deliver them to SGS labs.
• Maintain good relationships with SGS customers by providing courteous, efficient, professional pickup service and delivery of sampling supplies.
• Complete log sheet and obtain customer signatures for chain‑of‑custody and billing.
• Take temperature readings of samples upon receipt.
• Maintain company vehicle in good order and clean condition.
• Maintain a safe and satisfactory driving record.
• Complete SGS Defensive Driver training courses as required.

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions accurately and timely.
• Map reading skills, especially formal maps.
• Personable and capable of building good relationships with clients.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Flexibility to work variable hours when needed.
• Willingness to travel to other SGS locations or client sites.
• Compliance with company Health & Safety, Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct policies.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.

Hourly rate: $22.00–$24.00. Eligible for overtime pay.

• Participation in Company benefit programs starting the first of the month of hire.
• Immediate eligibility for 401K retirement plan.
• Paid vacation: four floating holidays, seven company‑observed holidays, sick time accrual.
