Our client, a long-standing and reputable manufacturing company, is looking to add an experienced Accounting Manager to their team. With a broad product line, this organization offers both stability and complexity, making it an excellent environment for a skilled accounting professional.

This role is highly visible and hands‑on, ideal for someone with strong manufacturing accounting experience who enjoys working closely with operations, taking ownership of key processes, and driving improvements. The Accounting Manager will also play a pivotal role in an upcoming ERP implementation.

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations within a manufacturing setting
• Lead cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and margin evaluation
• Oversee inventory accounting to ensure accuracy, proper controls, and timely reporting
• Direct month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support
• Partner with teams across production, supply chain, sales, and leadership to ensure alignment between financial data and operations
• Act as a key contributor in the ERP migration
• Review and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and reporting capabilities
• Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff, including one direct report

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in cost accounting and inventory management
• Experience supporting or leading ERP implementation
• Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and manufacturing accounting practices
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and communication abilities
• Comfortable working fully on‑site in a fast‑paced, operations‑focused environment
