Overview
Community Unit School District 200 is seeking a dynamic, energetic Vocal Music Teacher who maintains a positive learning environment, holds high academic expectations, and creates a student‑centered classroom while building rapport with students, parents, and staff. The candidate will assist schools in creating an exemplar learning community where everyone seeks and implements strategies for improving student achievement and growth. This position reports to the building principal.
Responsibilities- Maintain a positive learning environment and hold high academic expectations.
- Create a student‑centered classroom and build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
- Assist schools in developing an exemplar learning community and implementing strategies to improve student achievement and growth.
- Collaborate in professional learning communities to achieve shared goals focused on student learning.
Current Illinois Elementary Professional Educator License (PEL) with Music Endorsement.
