Alto Wheaton is hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers, CNAs, and Resident Assistants to join our Assisted Living team.

As part of our care team, you'll provide hands‑on assistance with activities of daily living, support resident safety and comfort, and build meaningful relationships in a welcoming Assisted Living environment.

  • Full-Time – 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Every Other Weekend Required
  • Full-Time – 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Every Other Weekend Required

    Qualifications
    • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented individuals
    • Certification in CNA preferred (not required unless state-mandated)
    • Experience in Assisted Living, Long‑Term Care, or caregiving preferred
    • Strong communication and professionalism
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
    • Passion for serving seniors with dignity and heart
    Required Qualifications
    • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum one (1) year related health care experience required.
    • In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training.
    • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
    • The Community is a drug‑free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state.
    • May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) depending on state requirements, if licensed or certified must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
    • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
    Resident Assistant Responsibilities
    • Approach all encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
    • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, medicinal reminders, and incontinence care.
    • Keep proper records of care including a resident service plan and documenting services provided.
    • Be familiar with resident service plan and document all service provided.
    • Work closely and maintain daily communications with the Resident Services associates so that continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents.
    • Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
    • Support the programming and operations of the neighborhood.
